Live|Bold
What is that supposed to mean? Lance Armstrong introduced us to the idea of living strong. Remember the yellow bracelets? Still got one? I am inviting Christian Men… better yet… Men of faith to take it one step further and Live|Bold for Christ. Livebold.org is dedicated to helping all men of faith realize that it takes more than a weekly meeting and a “turn the cheek” attitude to be called faithful. This online collection of inspiration, humor, and community is committed to giving you something useful to do with your “internet time” and hopefully equipping you to go a live a life that makes a difference in the lives of others.

There is a verse in the Bible ( which by the way is loaded with men who were standing chin first into the face of adversity) located in ACTS 4:31.

31After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

You see… these guys were in the face of culture. They stood up for what they believed in and was willing to go toe to toe with anybody man enough to challenge them. Where are you in this challenge?

Come inside, look around, and read a little to see where we’re coming from. I think you will find that we’re not trying to beat you with a bullhorn and a brochure. Our mission is to take everyday life, twist it up into something useful, and offer ways to do the ordinary things with faith as our guide.

THE FORMAT

You’ll find this website to cover topics for men. More specifically, we’ll cover topics that men might find interesting. We’ll give you some insight, facts, or straight out lie to you to make you feel better… but in the end you’ll see that everything is woven together with common thread of faith.

We want you enjoy your time spent, be able to brag about it, and know that God is awesome and Christ Jesus did not die in vain… he sacrificed his life for you.
WHO ARE YOU?
LIVEBOLD. A community built for men of faith. We believe that God is the creator of the universe, we aren’t afraid to pray in public, and we choose to live a life that our kids can look up to.
WHY THIS?
Face it. Most men above the age of 26 can count the number of close friends on 1 hand (you probably only need a couple of fingers to make it work). Guys are terrible about “exposing” feelings and “talking” about problems. The internet gives us some anonimity and freedom to connect without getting too close. You know exactly what I’m talking about. LIVE BOLD is a connection to other men of faith who are trying to figure out what in the hell it is we’re supposed to be doing.
HOW WILL IT AFFECT YOU?
It’s up to you. breeze in, catch up on some stuff that you’re curious about. Read some snippets about sports, food, music, hunting, or whatever cranks your tractor. Or dig in a little. Get into the community forums, find some guys who have experienced things you haven’t… and ask some questions. Or go deeper… plug into the community forums and connect with some other guys who don’t have it figured out, but are trying to do a better job at being dad or husband.
