If this were a video blog, you would notice a small tear forming in the coner of my right eye.  It’s not a tear of sadness… but joy.  Tonight marks the first regular season NFL game between the NY Giants and the Washington Redskins… and I’m pumped.  I’ll try not to fill the space at LB with football commentary, but I can assure you that I’m watching.  To me, there’s nothing better than grabbing a few buddies and watching a good game.

I would like to welcome some new writers to the Live Bold Nation.  Now that hunting season is coming toward us, you’ll see articles coming forward from Vince and Lee.  These guys have a passion for hunting like I have a passion for football.  Soon, you’ll see a new writer in the Grilling section of the site.  Paul is passionate about grilling up the perfect steak, and other incredibly good food on the the manliest of manly cooking surfaces… the grill.

These guys are men who put their faith as a priority in their life.  They work hard, love their family, and have a good time.  I think the word I will chose for them is — authentic.  If you ask, they’ll tell you what they think… no sugar coating.  And if you’re looking to see if they wear a tie on Tuesday night and go door to door with bullhorns and pamphlets telling the world about Jesus… they don’t — and I love that about them.  What you will see is men who live their faith right where they are… and that is exactly what Christ teaches us to do.  James tells us in his book in the Bible that talking about your faith is certainly an honorable endeavor… but better is that you live your life so people know your faith.  That’s where the men separate from the boys.  In today terms… James tells us to stop talking about it and start living it. 

I’m pretty pumped and can’t wait to read what they’re working on.  Vince has posted his first article in the “Outdoors” section under the Hunting category.  Lee will be posting his article tonight.  Paul is working on his grilling article and it will be ready soon (It’s pre-heating on the grill).  As for me, I’m praying for all of you… that you find peace where you are and put your talents to work.  Doing so will bring purpose to your days.
