I have been reading Greg Arnolds' - Living Bold I wonder what your life would be like if you had absolute confidence, beyond a shadow of a doubt, confidence and assurance that: 1. There really is a living God 2. He’s a personal God that know you by your name 3. A God that will walk through every day with you, He will see you through, over, around anything that you face. Imagine if you had that kind of faith… The kind of faith that you could say when something bad happens, “Well there is nothing I can do about that so I will just trust God to get me through it”. The kind of faith when you face a huge temptation you say, ”Well God I don’t know how I am going to say no to that. Everything inside me tell me I ought to go that way. It sure would make my life a lot more fun. BUT, I am going to trust you because you are so much bigger than that and you will help me through it”. The kind of faith that when something great in your life happens you say, “God I know you brought that my way and I want to thank you. This thing is not going to make me a different person because you are with me”. What if you had that amazing out of the box faith that whatever happened to you just trusted God, you just trusted God. You say, “I know that God knows what is going on in my life and he will be there for me”. Because of your trust in God you were at total peace with yourself. Do you know people whose faith in God is so strong that at times you would describe it as amazing? What is it about them that makes you think their confidence in God is so strong? Could it be that they are Living Bold like Greg is talking about? Imagine how different your outlook on life would be if you had absolute confidence that God was with you? Imagine how differently you would respond to difficulties, temptations, and even good things if you knew with certainty that God was in all of it and was planning to leverage it for good. In other words, imagine what it would be like to have PERFECT faith. We know people that are like that. I think this is the kind of thing that Greg is talking about. Andy Stanley talks about 5 things that Grows your faith this big. 1. Practical Teaching 2. Providential Relationships 3. Private Disciplines 4. Personal Ministry 5.
