Living as a child of God and a believer in Christ opens the doors to unimaginable joy. In the presence of the creator, we find peace and joy. We accept the goodness that is made just for us and we reject the evil that is working day and night to separate us from God’s grip.
Take heart and receive God’s protection from the world’s definition of love which is built on accomplishments, things, looks, and stuff. Don’t allow the wicked thoughts of fear, despair, worry, dread, sadness, and hopelessness invade your life. God’s plan for His followers is joy, peace, hopefulness, happiness, fulfillment, and contentment.
There is nothing in this world that can take away your joy and peace when you reside within the protection of God. Nothing. However, you can choose to give away joy and peace out of fear. Today, let’s be more than spectators of God’s love… let’s be participants. Let’s hate wickedness and let’s take back our joy and peace.
Today we live under the protection of the hand that made it all. Today, nothing gets in the way of our relationship with God and nothing stands between you and joy.
Who have you allowed to steal your joy?
What one thing can you give up today that is robbing you from happiness?
PRAY: God, I want to see your protection sometimes and I want your retaliation to be instant. Help me to have the faith to know that you are working well ahead of me, slaying wickedness before I even reach the day. Thank you for protecting me from things I could never imagine. Amen.
