So what are you going to do about it?  You talk, you complain, you discuss, you debate, your contemplate… but what are you really going to do about it?

I get so tired of the phrase… “yeah… but what can 1 person do?”.  That helpless attitude is what evil uses to keep us bound to our seats.  If you truly knew how much influence you have at your fingertips, you would be surprised.

God calls us to stand up for Him and our faith.  We are not called to sit around and wait on someone else to march forward so we can “join up”.  Faith in God is one of action.  The book of James tells us that even the demons believe in God and shudder at His name.  But what I see are legions of faithful people who believe and don’t even shudder at His name.  So does that mean that evil respects God more than us?  We can’t have that… ever.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret.  If you are a man of faith, and you have come to realize that God is more important than anything else in your life, but you just don’t how to get in touch with Him… here’s how.

When you complain or when something gets stuck in your gut that compels you to talk about it… do you think that God could be pointing something out to you?  I think so.  When you start focusing on God and not yourself, you begin to see things the way God sees them.  He gives us filters that allow us to start caring about the things that God cares about.

I don’t want to hear anyone say that they are waiting on a sign from God before they are moved to action on something.  If you see it… and it’s contrary to God, and it gets on your nerves… you’ve gotten your sign. Now go.

We sit back and think that the world is too big to affect change.  How myopic we are.  If you believe in God, you must believe that He is doing great works in hearts all over the world.

I love that quote.  It sums up what we are supposed to be doing… taking a stand.  Rest assured that there are millions of people sitting… bound to their chairs… complaining.  When you take a stand for the things that God has laid on your heart, others will rise and stand with you.

Don’t misunderstand… we don’t need a bunch of hellcats flying zooming around forcing their own junk down our throats.  If your complaints are those of self desire… just shut up.  If your complaints are those things that you know are contrary to God… then get busy.

Stop talking.  Start doing.
