Disciple – Rocks

There’s nothing quite like the grinding rhythm of a good bass line layered over a driving beat. Disciple is one of those bands that makes you want to drive fast, jump out of an airplane, or stand in the face of your biggest giant. Christian Rock is more than a sweet remake of “Standing on the Promises” with an electric keyboard and a snare drum, and Disciple is proof.

I’ll admit, I love to rock. However, when I listen to some of the hard rock today, I just can’t identify with doing drugs, trashing my home, or any other stupidity. When I stumbled across disciple a couple of years ago, I found my groove. Now I can rock on… get the adrealine pumping, and shake my fist in the face of evil… God’s army is mighty, and disciple is certainly a great soundtrack for your victories. If the hard stuff isn’t your cup of tea, don’t write them off, their rock ballads are filled complete with worship and honor to God while keeping a clean, crisp sound.
