What are you waiting on?  There is no whistle, there is no siren, there is no public announcement, or governmental proclamation coming that will tell you it’s time to stand up for your faith with your chin up. Christian Men have sat quietly long enough to see how things will turn out when we aren’t invested in the lives of our neighbors.  Wake up… things are going to hell without your God inspired hand in the fight.

We’ve been waiting so long for something to break, hoping and praying that it would appear before our eyes.  Time has made us old and our spirits are weary from attack after attack and we just… wait.  So often, we mumble our prayers not fully expecting an answer… and God waits on us to look up.  Is that what faith is about?  I don’t think so.

Raise your head.  Be proud.  Stand up and walk quietly, firmly, and with resolve as a dominating wave that rushes toward restoring the intensity of Christ in your family, community, and country.   It doesn’t take a degree in theology, philosophy, or deep memorization skills to Live Bold.  In fact, relying on deep analysis of God’s desire for your life can destroy a day that He could have used you to help someone desperate for a hand (trust me on that one).  Prayer and meditation are key to renewing your spirit of reliance upon God… but get back in the fight!

You need a cause, you need a purpose, and you need a pursuit that will actually accomplish something measurable.  Live Bold with me!

Shut down the evil in your life by standing taller.  Meet the challenge of temptation by conquering it through action.  Raise your face and look up so you can meet life and stare it down eye to eye.  Don’t look left or right, and don’t stammer in your speech… take it all head on.

Forget what is behind you.  Look ahead and give the day everything that you’ve got!  Leave nothing in the locker room… take it all to the field and when the game is over, you’ll sit in exhausted joy knowing that you gave it your all, to live as God would have you live… today.

Wake Up! Evil wants to kill you and take you to hell… and you stand by trying to figure out your 401k?  Your car payment?  The new addition on the house?  The career move?  You’ve got to have more substance to your life than that..  Yes, these things exist… but where do they fit in the picture when you’ve done nothing to use your talent, skill, and ability for God’s unique purpose?  It’s up to us now.  Failure is not an option.

The wait is over.  Now is the time we rise up and press forward.  Now is the time that we leave our broken lives in the chairs we slouch into each day.  Today is the day that we stand up, look up, and grab hold of the life God uniquely built us to live.

Are you tired of being kicked, dragged, and punched in the gut over and over again?  Do you think that sitting idle with your head hung down is the answer?  I hope not.  Christian Men, we must stand to make a noise, an impact, and a difference on our little 3 square feet of the universe.  God entrusts you to do His work in the space you stand in.  Do your part and I’ll do my part.  Having done this, we’ll have impacted 6 square feet today.  Easy enough?

The saving Grace of God is free to you… and it’s worth fighting for.  Do not sit and die in your corner.  Go down swinging… there are people waiting for you to stand up and fight.  The wait is over… stand up and let’s get busy.
