When God triumphs and leads us to victory, we must be careful to not leave any remnant of the old life in place. All must be confessed and destroyed.
Our hearts line up with God – our creator when we allow His plans to stand firm in our hearts. Our eyes open, our mouths sing praises, and our discontent disappears.
Our circumstances will get ugly. Relationships will turn sour. Feelings and emotions are likely to be trampled. God is in those moments too… waiting for our thankfulness.
We can grow beyond being just a “good guy” by hooking our yoke with people headed in the same direction. With the help of others, we can break through to being God’s Guys.
You can either spend your life trying to control something you are not equipped to control – or you can breathe in the day and enjoy the gift of knowing Christ and serving others.
Pursue your career with passion, but balance your life with equal pursuit for the truth in Christ. In the end, it’s Jesus that holds the key – not the industry.
